1st Cluster Workshop in Materials and Nanotechnology
The Instituto Superior Técnico platform of Nanotechnologies and Materials Engineering (IST-NM) is hosting the 1st Cluster Workshop in Materials and Nanotechnology from December 4 to 6, 2013.
This workshop is expected to launch a regular series of meetings in the area that would circulate annually among Cluster schools (). This first edition will be focused in Eco-Materials and their applications in different areas, including Biomedical Materials, Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials, Materials for Energy, and Environmentally Conscious Materials.
The workshop includes several invited lectures from outstanding researchers in the field, as well as a large number of oral and poster communications.
A round table session discussing new opportunities in Materials Science education at post graduated level will be moderated by Prof. Jean Ethorneau (UB1 and EMMI) and Prof. François Weiss (INP-Grenoble).
We are pleased to invite the scientific community working in the field to submit an abstract and to attend this event.
