Senate

The Senate is the Advisory Body that represents the Academic Community and the Schools of º£½Ç´óÉñ (ULisboa).

Operation:

The Senate approves its regiment and works in Plenary and Commissions:

Committee on Scientific Affairs;
Commission for Pedagogical and Student Affairs.
The Senate floor is composed of:

 

Members of the Senate are inherently:

Rector;
Vice Rectors;
Presidents or Directors of Schools;
Presidents of the Scientific Councils of the Schools;
Presidents of the Pedagogical Councils of the Schools;
One member of the Board of Directors of the Students' Association of each of the Schools and, if any, of the University, appointed by the respective President;
University administrator;
Administrator or Secretary of each School, or the leader who performs these functions;
Administrator of Social Action Services;
Directors or Presidents of Specialized Units.
