Special Admission Competition for International Students
The International Student Estatute (EEI) establishes enrolment criteria in the University of Lisbon's (ULisboa) 海角大神 Cycles.
The special competition is for students who:
- Do not have Portuguese nationality, except;
- Nationals from a Member-State of the European Union or a State Party encompassed in the Agreement on the European Economic Area;
- Family members of Portuguese nationals, or of nationals of a member-state of the European Union or a State Party encompassed in the Agreement on the European Economic Area, regardless of their nationality;
- Those who are not nationals of a member-state of the European Union or a State Party encompassed in the Agreement on the European Economic Area, but who have been legally residing in Portugal for more than two years, uninterruptedly, by January 1st of the year in which they intend to enter higher education, as well as their children who reside with them. The time of residence for study during the period in which the student is attending secondary education in Portugal is relevant for this purpose;
- Students who benefit from the equal rights and duties statute granted under an international treaty between the Portuguese State and the student's nation-state;, by January 1st of the year in which they intend to enter higher education;
- Those applying to enter higher education through the special regimes.
- Hold:
- A qualification granting access to higher education, meaning any diploma or certificate issued by a competent authority attesting to the successful completion of an educational programme and entitling them to apply for and enter higher education in the country in which it was awarded, or;
- A Portuguese secondary school diploma or an equivalent degree.
