Staff Teaching
The Erasmus+ Programme allows staff to carry out mobility periods within European higher education institutions with the aim of taking part in professional development activities at the host university, enabling the internationalization of all the participant higher education institutions.
ULisboa welcomes Erasmus+ teaching staff incoming from all the Partner Universities.
Step by step:
Staff should apply for the Erasmus+ Programme at their home institution. Deadlines and application requirements are set by the home institution which is also responsible for selecting the participants that will take part in the Erasmus+ Programme.
Staff that intend on carrying out an Erasmus teaching period must:
- Contact the School’s Erasmus/International Office or a professor at ULisboa to assure that it is possible be hosted for a training or a teaching period at ULisboa;
- In case of teaching staff, check if a valid Interinstitutional Agreement exists with the Specific School of ULisboa and in the relevant field of teaching of the mobility;
- Complete all the home institution’s application procedures to be selected and nominated for our university;
- Contact the School’s Erasmus/International Office or a professor at ULisboa to assure that it is possible be hosted and to teach at ULisboa;
- If the participant is accepted, he/she must fill in the Mobility Agreement form, gather the required signatures and hand it in at his home institution;
- In case of mobility for teaching, a minimum of 8h should be lectured.
Before returning to the home institution, mobile staff should request a declaration of stay (pdf) from the hosting School’s Erasmus/International Office certifying the stay, including mobility dates.
