Launch of the UNESCO Chair on Futures of Education
The launching ceremony of the UNESCO Chair on Futures of Education will take place in the University of Lisbons’ Great Hall located in the Main Building, on March 20th, 2023, at 6 p.m.
The UNESCO Chair on Futures of Education, created at the University of Lisbon, aims to accept the invitation from UNESCO’S International Commissionaccording to the report Reimagining our futures together: A new social contract for education to continue the reflection on the future of education, at national and international level. Special attention will be given to the Portuguese-speaking countries.

A speech by the Director of the Institute of Education of ULisboa, Professor LuÃs Carvalho.
Presentation of the UNESCO Chair FUTURES OF EDUCATION, Prof. António Sampaio da Nóvoa.
