Three Minute Thesis – Competition Final 2025
On 22 May, the Pavilion of Portugal will host the final of the 3rd edition of the Three Minute Thesis competition – ULisboa.
The 12 finalists in this edition of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition will have to explain the impact of their research to a non-specialised audience in just 3 minutes using a single slide. Merit recognition diplomas will be awarded to the 12 finalists and prizes of €5,000, €2,000 and €1,000 awarded to the first, second and third place winners, respectively.
Through the organisation of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, the University of Lisbon offers students the opportunity to develop new science communication skills, while promoting scientific culture and fostering interdisciplinarity and mutual knowledge at the University of Lisbon.
