FATAL 2025 - Applications Open
Between the 15th and 25th of May, ULisboa will be the centre of another edition of the annual Lisbon Academic Theatre Festival.
The festival's programme has three categories: IN COMPETITION, with shows selected by a recognised panel of multi-skilled performing arts professionals; MORE FATAL, in which the festival brings to the stage shows of proven quality that are not in competition; and FATAL iNVITES, with shows by Academic theatre groups invited to take part in the 24th edition of the festival.
FATAL's mission is to promote and publicise Portuguese university theatre, making sure it has a place of honour in Portuguese cultural life, while keeping Lisbon on the itinerary of the great European university theatre festivals.
FATAL is supported by Caixa Geral de Depósitos and the Lisbon City Council.
