Orbiting Sustainability Workshop with ULisboa students

Did you know that millions of pieces of space debris are currently orbiting Earth, threatening satellites and therefore our day-to-day lives, scientific missions, and future space exploration? Despite its critical impact, orbital pollution remains an invisible challenge in mainstream discussions. We want you to join us and help change it!
The Orbiting Sustainability Workshop is an exciting, hands-on event from bringing together 18 students from , , and º£½Ç´óÉñ to tackle the challenge of orbital pollution. Taking place in Grenoble, France, the workshop is part of a two-phase project aimed at raising awareness and driving action.
Who Can Apply?
Students from Aalto University, UGA, and ULisboa who are passionate about:
- Space sustainability
- Science communication & advocacy
- Engineering, environmental science, policy, or design
- No prior experience is required - just curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to collaborate!
