The cycle of studies is geared towards providing students with transversal, technical and scientific skills capable of promoting the national and international development of the agricultural sector, which is vital to the pursuit of sustainable development objectives.
The proposing HEIs have previously defined objectives of environmental, economic and social sustainability in their activities and in the teaching they provide, and compliance with the SDGs of the 2030 agenda is a commitment of both HEIs.

Access and ingress
The following are eligible to apply for access to the cycle of studies leading to the doctoral degree in “Sustainable Agriculture”:
a) Holders of a master's degree or legal equivalent in the areas of agricultural, veterinary, biological or environmental sciences, or related areas. Exceptionally, other students with a master's degree or legal equivalent in different areas may be admitted, provided they are deemed appropriate by the body statutorily competent for this purpose.
