Applications for ULisboa's university training programme for people aged Over 50, for the course "Entender o Mundo no Século XXI - Inovação e Saúde: Desafios, Capacitação e Oportunidades" [“Understanding the World in the 21st Century - Innovation and Health: Challenges, Training and Opportunities”], are open until 14 February 2025.
ULisboa M50 course opens applications for 2nd semester 2024/25

Professors and researchers from the Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Human Kinetics will address topics such as Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Digital Innovation, Big Data and Simulation Models. The course will also explore new therapeutic approaches, as well as self-care and self-regulation strategies. Through collective reflection and discussion, participants will be skilled in contemporary challenges, with a broad and critical view of the technological and scientific transformations that are shaping health in the 21st century.
The [O50 Programme] promotes courses with a scientific, technical and cultural vocation around themes rooted in the areas of knowledge of ULisboa's schools. The courses are designed and led by ULisboa professors and researchers and are aimed at candidates over the age of 50, with a minimum level of secondary education or equivalent.
This programme strives to make the University accessible for new audiences, in efforts to diversify opportunities for lifelong learning, personal and social development and civic participation.
