Unite! Widening Digital Campus Hub brings academia and businesses closer together in Portugal and Poland
The presentation event will take place in a hybrid format, on the mornings of November 18, 2025, at the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), and on November 21 at Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WroclawTech) in Poland.
The initiative brings together representatives from universities, research centers, and companies to explore new opportunities for collaboration in innovation and digital transformation, integrating , the platform developed as part of the European aUPaEU project. Inspired by the Greek concept of agora - a meeting and sharing point - Agora connects students, teachers, researchers, and academic staff from the Unite! and EPiCUR alliances, providing access to acceleration services, digital resources, and integrated collaboration tools.
Until now focused on academic collaboration, the Unite!Widening project aims to extend Agora's reach to the business community, encouraging SMEs and innovation hubs to integrate into the research and innovation ecosystems of European universities.
During the events, the main features of Digital Campus will be presented, including access to digital resources, virtual mobility, and opportunities for knowledge sharing and innovation. In Lisbon, the session will take place in the Auditorium of the Incubator – TTC of ULisboa, with online transmission to a wider audience, and will be attended by business and institutional representatives, including from the aUPaEU project of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), responsible for creating the Agora.
With these initiatives, the Unite!Widening Digital Campus Hub aims to contribute to a more connected, inclusive, and innovative European Research Area (ERA), strengthening the role of universities as drivers of development and digital transformation across Europe.
