ULisboa is the 1st Portuguese University in the Rankings SCIMAGO Research 2015 and CWUR 2015
The Ǵ (ULisboa) occupies the 1st place among the Portuguese Universities in the SCImago Research Ranking 2015, which evaluate nine indicators: Output (number of abstracts at SCOPUS), International Collaboration, Normalized Impact, Scientific Talent Pool, Specialization Index, Excellence Rate, Scientific Leadership, High Quality Publications and Excellence with Leadership.
The ULisboa is at 113rd position worldwide among the 5.055 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and research organizations, having improved 26 positions since 2013. This result underline that ULisboa, considering only the restricted group of worldwide universities, stands at the 92nd position when in 2014 stood at 99th. At European context, ULisboa reached the 29th position from which only 19 are HEIs.
This year the majority of Portuguese HEIs climb up their position in the SCImago Research Ranking. However, we must stress, that ULisboa stands out 84 positions above the Portuguese HEI positioned in 2nd place.
ULisboa is also the leading Portuguese university at CWUR Ranking 2015 that measures the quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty, publications, influence, citations, broad impact and patents.
