The Movimento de Expressão Fotográfica (MEF) [Movement of Photographic Expression], in collaboration with the University of Lisbon, is organising the Theatre Photography Workshop, designed to provide a unique experience of photographic coverage of the 24th edition of FATAL – Festival Anual de Teatro Académico de Lisboa [Lisbon's Annual Academic Theatre Festival].

2025 Theatre Photography Workshop | MEF
The workshop includes a theoretical component, where specific stage photography techniques will be discussed, and a practical component, developed throughout the festival. The practical part involves photographing the programmed shows, as well as documenting the environment and parallel activities that form the atmosphere of .
For a comprehensive and collaborative coverage, participants will be organised into work teams, coordinated in the field by trainer Tânia Araújo and accompanied in the classroom by trainer LuÃs Rocha.
To participate in this workshop, the festival's organisation requests the submission of a selection of images in digital format, with the aim of promoting future editions of . The organisation undertakes to respect the rights of authorship, guaranteeing due credit to the participating photographers. The authorship of the images taken during the workshop belongs entirely to the participants.
