Técnico student was crowned champion at the European Kung Fu Championship
Daniel David, a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, was crowned European Kung Fu Champion in the Taolu Mixed Style Weapon category, Vice-European Kung Fu Champion in the Taolu Single Long Weapon category and won a bronze medal in the Taolu Other Bare Hand Styles category. The European Kung Fu and Wushu Championships were held in Greece, from 10th to 16th November.
The athlete participated in the competition as a member of the National Wushu/Kung Fu Team of the Portuguese Federation of Chinese Martial Arts. The event was attended by 700 athletes from about 21 countries.
