Field hospital at University Stadium of Lisbon admits its first patients
This unit began its operation following the overload in hospitals in the region of Lisboa e Vale do Tejo.
This field hospital is meant strictly for those diagnosed with COVID-19 and may admit patients from the three main Lisbon hospital centres and from other hospitals in the metropolitan area.
Said structure is the result of the cooperation between the º£½Ç´óÉñ, the Lisbon City Council, The Armed Forces General Staff, the Regional Health Administration of Lisboa and Vale do Tejo and the hospital centres which have collaborated in order to build this temporary hospital in the pavillions of the University Stadium of Lisbon.
