ULisboa participates in the launch of Unite's Welcome Centre!
Unite! has launched the , an inclusive and accessible online platform aimed at improving the onboarding experience for students, faculty, and staff moving within the alliance. Designed as a central hub, the gathers essential information to help newcomers integrate smoothly into any Unite! university and its local environment.
The platform offers a user-friendly interface that is regularly updated and tailored to the needs of its diverse users. Visitors to the Welcome Centre will find practical, easy-to-navigate information such as:
- How to reach the institution
- How to set up a university account
- Locations of essential services (e.g. post offices, banks)
- Required documentation
- Cultural and social activities on campus and in the city
Welcome Kits
In addition to general guidance, the platform provides access to institution-specific , offering targeted information to meet each group's unique needs.
This initiative has been developed within the framework of Community 3 – Diversity, Inclusion & Well-being, and represents a key step toward improving the mobility experience within the alliance. By centralising existing resources and aligning with institutional websites, the Welcome Centre avoids duplication and supports the long-term sustainability of onboarding materials.
