Unite! Engineering Biology: Online matchmaking event for young researchers. On September 25, 2025, the Unite! Engineering Biology initiative will bring together researchers from all Unite! partner universities to foster collaboration and lay the groundwork for joint project proposals in the fields of biotechnology, biomedicine, biosciences and chemistry.

Unite! Engineering Biology – 2nd Online Matchmaking Event with registration open until September 18
The upcoming second edition of the online matchmaking event will serve as a platform for scientific exchange, where researchers from all Unite! universities, working in biotechnology, biomedicine, biosciences and chemistry can connect and collaborate. The event especially encourages participation from early-career group leaders, who are invited to present their work and research highlights in 10-minute talks, followed by 5-minute discussions.
In addition, breakout sessions will offer opportunities to network with colleagues from other Unite! institutions and explore the potential for joint proposals, including initiatives supported by Unite! seed funding.
Researchers interested in participating are invited to submit a short abstract of their research (max. 200 words) and references to molbiotech.unite@tugraz.at by September 18, 2025.
The initiative takes place on September 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CET, in an online format.
