Tianjin University Visit to ULisboa
On November 14th, 2017, a delegation from Tianjin University (China), visited º£½Ç´óÉñ (ULisboa).
ULisboa’s Vice-Rector, Professor João Barreiros, welcomed the Chinese delegation and briefly presented the University. Ms. Ana Pipio also took part in the meeting on behalf of ULisboa’s IST – Técnico Lisboa.
The Chinese delegation’s visit aimed mainly at discussing new ways of cooperation between both Universities within the scope of the existing General Agreement. As such, they have become interested in broadening the cooperation to scientific areas within the ULisboa Schools, which was inexistent thus far.
On ULisboa’s behalf, the visit was a way of reinforcing its internationalization strategy of further intensifying its ties with prestigious Chinese higher education institutions.
